There's no money at allThere is no money. “I have money” is what someone says when they want to buy. “I want money ” means I wantto sell. “I need money” means I need to work. What would happen if suddenly everybody stopped believing money was worth something? It happens occasionally - in one famous example in 1930’s Germany people stopped believing in their currency - the Deutschmark. Next thing you know it would take barrels of money just to buy a loaf of bread. I have some stamps from that period, where a five mark stamp was revalued - they literally printed a new value on top of it. The value? 800,000 marks. That’s right - in a short time they went from it costing 5 marks to send a letter to 800,000 marks to send the same letter. Money Does Not Exist And Has Never Existed. Money is a form of mass hallucination - it’s one of the rare things in the world whose existence is created solely by the belief that large numbers of people have in it. Think about money as an idea, rather than something tangible. Because if money itself is an idea - a creation of the mind, the creation and accumulation of wealth (i.e., getting rich), is strongly influenced by the way you think as well.
